the role:


To coordinate the functioning of ICE Specialist Professional Registers. Managing registers of specialist professionals including application and interview processes, register maintenance and committee administration.


a typical day: 


Supporting registrants by managing inbox and telephone correspondence, processing applications and managing information on the membership database. Ensuring when applications come through, that they're sent to assessors. Periodically, the committees that run that application process will meet and you’ll be needed to manage the committee calendar run the meetings, coordinate working groups and keep documentation up to date. You’ll work closely with volunteer members and every so often arrange CPD (Continued Professional Development) events. Meetings and events are held online or at our Westminster offices.


The main role of our department is to qualify engineers and support them in attaining their qualifications. We do this through a network of volunteer members who act as reviewers as well as sit on committees that govern that qualification processes.
